Overnight Oats
Overnight oats have gained more and more attention throughout the years and have become a popular meal of choice for breakfast. This makes sense since who wouldn’t want something as easy to make as it is delicious. The best part? There aren’t even actual cooking requirements. My favorite go-to is this cold-brewed coffee-flavored oats that my mom used to make. You get both your oats and your coffee fix all in one go. This is sure to hold you over until lunch comes around. Fun fact, oats are known as the oldest known grains that can be traced back to Egypt’s 12th dynasty although the Chinese seemed to have already been familiar with them even before.
Not only are these oats super yummy but they are extremely nutritious and offer plenty of health benefits. Oats can help control weight and maintain heart health while lowering blood sugar. Oats are considered one of the healthiest grains around and are also gluten-free with lots of minerals, fiber, vitamins, and antioxidants.
